Datacom Systems’ Physical Layer Matrix Switches increases network visibility and leverages your investment in network analyzers, probes, and security equipment. Greater visibility accelerates problem resolution, reduces downtime, increases enterprise productivity, and improves ROI.
All Datacom Systems matrix switches are compatible with all vendor hardware and can be controlled by MANAgents™ switch control software, which will allow you to control all of your matrix switches through a single interface regardless of what network appliances you choose to deploy.
DURAstream™ Bypass Switch ensures your network’s most important data does not fail even when in-line devices do. Deploying a DURAstream™ Bypass Switch ensures uptime of critical links regardless of in-line device performance by diverting critical network traffic away from malfunctioning in-line devices until such devices are operating normally. This not only alleviates potential issues with traffic congestion affecting link behavior caused by an IPS, it allows maintenance and upgrades of attached in-line tools without network downtime.
Datacom Systems’ SINGLEstream™Link Aggregation Taps provides a superior solution for 24×7 monitoring of full-duplex Ethernet links.
While traditional taps might enable full-duplex monitoring of all traffic on a network link, they transmit the data to the monitoring device (e.g. analyzer, IDS, probe) in two separate half-duplex streams. Not only does this require the monitoring device to have two network interface cards (NIC), it also requires that the device be capable of combining and processing both streams of data in order to monitor both sides of the conversation. Not all monitoring devices have that capability.
The SINGLEstream™ Link Aggregation Tap faultlessly combines the two data streams, allowing any connected monitoring device to receive a full-duplex stream of data with one NIC.
